Breastfeeding Classes
This is a fun class for expecting mothers and her partner/coach that meets one time for 4.5 hours. The class sizes are small in order to give personalized attention to participants. Fathers or partners are encouraged to attend.
Subjects include:
- Advantages of Breastfeeding
- Risks of artificial (bottle) feeding
- Myths about breast feeding
- How often to nurse your baby
- How to know if your baby is getting enough to eat
- How to recognize common problems early
- Management of common problems
- Pumping and storing breast milk
- Working Mothers and breastfeeding
- Proper positioning
- Use of breast pumps, breast shields etc.
- Breast pump rentals

- Class 9:00 am to 1:30 pm. (Please bring a light lunch)
- $60.00 per couple
